Getting Accepted into a Startup Accelerator

In 5 minutes catch up with what we’ve been up to at Neurobane during the month of July.

Key Points:

• Completed the second iteration(fail) of our proof of concept algorithm. The model inputs 1300 EEG brain scans in an MLP(Deep learning model) and has high accuracy but low recall and precision(the model over-fits). The model outputted a lot of false positives, claiming a huge chunk of healthy controls had psychiatric disorders.

• We are raising a $575,000 Pre-Seed to initiate our clinical trial, validate our tech, and run successful pilots.

• I was accepted into Antler, a founder-residency program being held in NYC this fall. The program has an acceptance rate of less than 3%.

Looking Ahead:

• Integrating the first-iteration model(ML-model) into a live web app, and presenting to psychiatrists that have signed us LOIs.

• Gathering more LOIs and securing our university partnership.

• Continue raising our pre-seed round.
